Model 8002 (LC-2) “Leap Year” Firmware Bug

We have identified a bug in the LC-2 firmware, which results in a date shift.

• Data recorded on February 1, 2008 will be posted as February 2, 2008 (not February 1st) and data recorded on February 29, 2008 will be posted as March 1, 2008.
• Data recorded on March 1, 2008 will be posted as March 1, 2008 (in effect there will be 2 postings for March 1st).

Please return any Model 8002’s to Geokon, Inc. as soon as possible (see address below). We will fix and return them to you immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
