A Successful Course

Continuing Education Course on
Geotechnical Instrumentation for Field Measurements

April 3-5, 2011 | Doubletree Hotel, Cocoa Beach, Florida

This continuing education course, held  between April 3-5, 2011 at the Doubletree Hotel, in Cocoa Beach, Florida was a resounding success.

Over 57 attendees and 8 lecturers participated in the 3-day program, which included presentations by users of instrumentation from USA, England and France along with technical presentations and instrument displays by major manufacturers of geotechnical instrumentation from USA, Canada and Switzerland.

To reflect modern trends, the course featured new lectures dealing with web-based monitoring, wireless monitoring, emerging technologies and on-line sources of information, in addition to the  ever popular case histories.
