Jack Taylor: Employee No.1

Jack was the very first employee at Geokon in 1979 when the company was started by Barrie Sellers. Jack’s duties have included everything from building the instruments, loading the delivery carriers, and typing invoices, to his current role as Director of Operations and Finance, where he is responsible for day-to-day production and financial activities. “It has been tremendously satisfying to be such a part of the growth and evolution of this company to its current size of 70 employees.”

Jack’s intimate knowledge of Geokon’s products and operational acumen are valuable assets when it comes to serving the customer, and Jack finds time to work directly with a number of sales accounts in addition to his other duties. “We have added agents all around the world, and this has made the job more exciting, knowing our products are being used in many projects worldwide. In all, it has been a pleasure working with our team here over the years; we have a great many wonderful and dedicated employees.”
