Improvements in Calibration

Geokon continuously monitors, audits, and strives to improve calibration methods and equipment. The review of calibration processes and incorporation of the latest advances in measurement technology are vital parts of Geokon’s process improvement program.

Over the past two years, Geokon has made several upgrades in sensor calibration, including digital readout pressure gages for the 4500 Series Vibrating Wire Pressure Transducers/Piezometers, and the most recent acquisition, an automated precise linear encoder for calibration of the 4400 Series Vibrating Wire Displacement Transducers.

These units have improved the accuracy of calibrations and, at the same time, allowed an increase in manufacturing volume. As a result, Geokon can continue to respond quickly to customer needs while maintaining the quality of the calibration process.
