Pong Kleinhans

Pong Kleinhans was born in South Korea. In 1980 she came to the United States, via Europe, and after traveling extensively throughout the USA she settled in New Hampshire, and joined Geokon in 1989.

Pong, (pronounced Bong), has worked in many areas of the company putting together the basic vibrating wire sensor components, building readout boxes and dataloggers, and assembling the finished products.

Pong’s intimate knowledge of all the various product lines and her ability to work well with colleagues has enabled her to rise to the position of Assembly and Gage Room Supervisor. Here she manages over 15 assemblers, working to schedules, which often change rapidly in order to satisfy the (urgent) needs of our customers.

Pong enjoys working at Geokon – “It’s like being part of a family and Geokon has given me the opportunity to grow and succeed.”

Outside of Geokon, Pong enjoys an active life style: hiking, weightlifting and aerobics. One favorite pastime is “bushwhacking” where she takes off into the backwoods armed only with contour maps and a curiosity to find what’s out there off the beaten path.
