MEMS TiltmeterModel 6160The Model 6160 MEMS Tiltmeter is designed for attachment to structures, on either a vertical or horizontal surface by means of an adjustable bracket, and for the subsequent measurement of any tilting that may occur. The tiltmeter itself contains a Micro-Electro-Mechanical Sensor and associated signal conditioning, designed to drive long cables without output signal degradation. The sensor has excellent reliability and stability over time and temperature, and outstanding shock and overload durability.

MEMS TiltloggerModel 8101The Model 8101 MEMS Tiltlogger comprises the same MEMS tiltmeter/signal conditioner used with the Model 6160 MEMS Tiltmeter. The tiltlogger is housed inside a rugged Nema 4X enclosure with a lithium battery power supply, one (uniaxial) or two (biaxial) 16 bit low level voltage loggers and a miniature standalone temperature logger. The loggers are capable of storing 37,767 readings and operate from 3.6 V lithium batteries with a 1 year battery life. Windows®-based software provides multiple graphing capability and real-time recording allowing data to be displayed while continuing to log.

Portable TiltmeterModel 6201The Model 6201 Tiltmeter is a portable device designed to measure tilt in structures such as buildings, dams and embankments and also for measurements related to the stability of slopes, open pits and the walls of excavations (e.g. slurry walls). The tiltmeter is placed on a tiltplate which has been permanently attached (either vertically or horizontally) to the structure to be monitored. The readings are taken in pairs, 180° to each other, to eliminate instrument bias. The sensor is used in conjunction with the GK-603 or GK-651 Readout Box and ceramic or stainless steel tilt plates.

Vibrating Wire TiltmeterModel 6350The Model 6350 VW Tiltmeter is designed to measure tilt in structures such as buildings, dams and embankments and also for measurements related to the stability of slopes, open pits and the walls of excavations (e.g. slurry walls). The tiltmeter is permanently attached to the structure to be monitored and can make measurements on horizontal or vertical surfaces. Readings are taken with the Model GK-403 VW Readout Box or continuously and remotely with the Micro-1000 or 8002 dataloggers.

Electrolytic Tilt SensorsModel 6700The Model 6700 is designed to measure angular displacement in structures such as dams, buildings, tunnels, embankments and retaining walls. It is an easy-to-install, low-cost alternative to accelerometer based tilt sensors, settlement systems and surveying. Horizontal and vertical configurations are available to measure differential vertical displacements and tilt. The sensors may be monitored remotely or read with the Geokon Model RB-201 portable readout box.

Pendulum SystemModel 6850The Model 6850 Pendulum System is designed to make accurate measurements of the relative movements of normal and inverted pendulums, such as those found in dams, and can be installed as a new system or as an electronic upgrade for an existing system. The electronics package provides both 4-20 mA and EIA RS-485 data outputs. The data can be stored locally or remotely in a Geokon Micro-1000 Datalogger, or other dataloggers, and thence by hard-wire or modem to a computer (IBM PC). Two 2-D models are available: 50×50 mm and 50×100 mm; and one 3-D model: 50×100×50 mm.
