Surge Protection Circuit Boards | Model 4999-12
The Model 4999-12 Surge Protection Circuit Boards (LAB3) are designed to protect GEOKON transducers, data loggers and power supplies from short duration, high voltage surges that may be induced in the transducer or interconnecting cables by lightning strikes. Surge protection is provided by LAB3 board circuitry, including tripolar plasma surge arrestors, transient suppression diodes, and inductors.
The LAB3 boards are available in three configurations to include 5 Volt signals, and 12 Volt or 24 Volt power and signals. The Model 4999-12LE includes the LAB3 board inside a watertight Nema 4 enclosure, which is suitable for most applications. The LAB3 board can be purchased separately for installation within data loggers or other enclosures.
