Calibration Technician

    GEOKON is a manufacturer of sensors and instrumentation used in civil, mining and structural engineering projects throughout the world.

    We are currently seeking a Calibration Technician, who at the direction of the Calibration Supervisor, works independently performing calibration of geotechnical instrumentation. Must be skilled at problem solving and working with others to solve a variety of production related problems. This is a full time position.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Set up calibration equipment
    • Operate machinery used to calibrate measurement instruments
    • Collect, analyze and save calibration data in accordance to established GEOKON acceptance criteria
    • Printing and scanning calibration reports

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1-3 years’ experience
    • Strong mechanical aptitude required
    • Meticulous attention to detail

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and blueprints for complex and standard product assembly
    • Help maintain equipment and a clean work environment
    • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
