Electronics Engineering Technician

  We are searching for an enthusiastic and ambitious Electronics Engineering Technician, to contribute to our engineering efforts related to instrumentation and data acquisition product development.

  Candidates should have foundational knowledge of electronics as it pertains to:

  • Sensors and instrumentation
  • Digital and analog circuitry
  • Digital communications
  • Testing, experimentation, and reports for same
  • Production processes (preferred)
  • Wireless communications (preferred)

  Skills:

  • Read and comprehend electronic schematics and data sheets
  • Electronic circuit prototyping
  • Soldering of through hole and SMT components
  • Use of test and measurement equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong computer & general software proficiency (Microsoft® Office®, Utilities, etc.)

  Responsibilities:

  • Prototyping, production feasibility studies
  • Troubleshooting
  • Design, build and document test fixtures, cables, and wiring harnesses
  • Hardware, firmware, and software testing
  • Provide technical material in support of production

  Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years of technical work experience preferred
