Quality Assurance Technician

    We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team! Under the direction of the QA Manager, you will contribute to Geokon’s success by ensuring company and customer quality standards are being met. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Perform inspection of machined parts to drawing and prints, create inspection reports, generate NCAR’s.
    • Perform final inspection of finished Geokon product, reconcile product to process control documents, generate calibration reports, C/Q certs, CE certs and Warranty certs.
    • File’s correspondence and records – data entry to specific database.
    • Duplicates reports, documents, and related materials.
    • Preforms Calibration of Geokon M&TE.
    • Maintains an electronic database, enters, and retrieves information, TIP, M&TE spreadsheet, NCAR resolution, supplier performance database, hanging weight database, M&TE cal certs.
    • Control of M&TE: gather M&TE due for calibration, database management for M&TE – maintains spreadsheets for all calibrated M&TE, generate monthly recall reports, review, and scan calibration certs for file storage.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience

    Other Requirements:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
    • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft® Word™, Excel®, Outlook® and Teams® software)
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
    • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
    • High attention to detail required
    • Must be able to keep numbers and letters in sequential order when reading and/or recording
    • Must be able to multi-task and cope with changing priorities
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
