GEOKON is a manufacturer of sensors and instrumentation used in civil, mining and structural engineering projects throughout the world.

We are currently seeking a Receiver who will verify and receive incoming shipments from different suppliers using Inventory software. The receiver keeps records of supplier skip lots, prints receivers/packing slips for Purchasing and moves items to the appropriate departments, catching non-conformances before parts are moved into production. The receiver also provides support to the shipping department by palletizing, banding and wrapping outgoing product. This is a full-time position.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Receives items into Inventory software
• Unpacks and inspects incoming shipments for damage
• Compares identifying info to verify receipt
• Routes items to different departments
• Uses electric pallet jack/fork truck to move/load/unload product
• Raw material stocking (color code)
• Assists in Shipping department palletizing, banding and wrapping outgoing product
• Assists with kits/double counts in the stock room
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Other Requirements:

• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Basic computer skills
• Strong team player
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Experience with Inventory Software
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
