Software Developer

  • GEOKON is a manufacturer of sensors and instrumentation used in civil, mining and structural engineering projects throughout the world.

    We are currently seeking a Software Developer who, at the direction of the Software Engineering Manager, will create and maintain software products to configure and acquire data from GEOKON data logging equipment and present said data to end-users in a consistent and user-friendly fashion. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Help add to our instrument data management software capabilities as we move to a cloud-hosted model
    • Ongoing development of data management and presentation application that supports all GEOKON data acquisition products
    • Maintain vital multi-user calibration data management web application

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3-5 years relevant experience

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to work well with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Familiarity with SQL/SQLite, WPF, .NET/C#, ASP.NET, Git or similar Source Control Software
    • HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Ajax, Crystal Report knowledge desired
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
