New to vibrating wire piezometers? This 2½ hour virtual seminar will cover the basic components, operation, and borehole installation of vibrating wire piezometers. Various piezometer designs, and the applications for which they are best suited, will also be discussed.
Credits: 2.5 PDH*; certificates of completion can be supplied upon request. *It is at the discretion of the attendee to determine if credits qualify with their regulatory agency.
Rob has more than 30 years of instrumentation experience in designing and installing an assortment of instrument types. Many of these years were spent in the consulting industry where he served as an instrumentation specialist for a variety of small to large-scale monitoring programs. He has worked in the instrumentation industry on many facets of the monitoring programs, ranging from the development of plans and specifications, through design and procurement of instrument systems, to installation and monitoring, to the final product of evaluation and presentation of data. He has installed over a hundred inclinometer casings throughout his career. He currently works with GEOKON customers providing field assistance for installations and in-house data evaluation, including inclinometer data.
Joelle has over 12 years of experience with instrumentation through a variety of positions within GEOKON. She has hands-on experience with the assembly and construction of many of the GEOKON instruments. Joelle advanced her knowledge of instrumentation operation and applications while working in outside sales for many years. During this time, she worked extensively with the broad GEOKON network of customers by identifying and procuring instrumentation for projects around the world. Joelle now serves as the GEOKON Training Coordinator, collaborating with our instrumentation experts to deliver training opportunities for those seeking to expand their knowledge of geotechnical instrumentation.
