Models LC-2×4 and LC-2×16

Geokon introduces two new multi-channel dataloggers as part of the LC-2 series, Models LC-2×4 and LC-2×16. These are self-contained, multi-channel versions of the Model 8002 LC-2 datalogger (formerly LC-1). The LC-2×4 provides 4 channels of vibrating wire (with thermistor) and is capable of storing 10666 readings per channel. The LC-2×16 provides 16 channels of vibrating wire (with thermistor) and is capable of storing 3555 readings per channel.

Both new dataloggers can be powered from standard alkaline 'D' cells (two required for the LC-2×4, four required for the LC-2×16) or from an external 12V source. Built-in over-voltage surge protection is a standard feature and spring-action terminal strips are provided for easy transducer connection.

Datalogger configuration and control is accomplished through a simple terminal emulator program such as HyperTerminal for Windows®, or equivalent, and stored data can be easily formatted for spreadsheet analysis.
