Cathy Langley

Cathy Langley works in GEOKON’s Assembly Department where she is involved with many of the non-standard and custom products that GEOKON designs and manufactures on a regular basis. She is one of GEOKON’s longest-serving employees, starting in 1988 when GEOKON had a staff of less than 30. After working in the hospitality industry and as a veterinarian’s assistant, Cathy began in GEOKON’s general assembly area, became an assistant supervisor there, and then moved to the Gage Room (where the vibrating wire sensors are manufactured) before returning to the assembly group. Her position involves a variety of skills and keen product knowledge since many of the products are made in direct collaboration with the Engineering Department.

Cathy enjoys the variety that the position brings, learning about the end uses of new and different products, and she often creates special instructions that are shipped with the products. Like many, she enjoys working with a dedicated staff and appreciates GEOKON’s willingness to offer flexible work schedules to its employees.

Away from GEOKON, Cathy creates pottery and enjoys outdoor activities at her home on Crystal Lake in Enfield, NH, including swimming, water-skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing. During good weather, she often drives a vintage VW Microbus that is the envy of many passing motorists.

Cathy’s abilities and experience with a broad range of products and manufacturing histories contribute to GEOKON’s ability to respond consistently to our customer’s diverse and ever-changing instrumentation needs.
