Please note: GEOKON will be closed Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. Normal business hours resume Tuesday, May 27.
Dale is a lifetime resident of nearby Quechee, Vermont. Following a stint as a machinist in the aerospace bearing industry, he joined Geokon in 1988, acquiring greater responsibilities over the years, and becoming Machine Shop Supervisor four years ago.
In this position, Dale organizes workflow in the machining and welding areas as well as scheduling overall facility maintenance. Differing from typical machine shops, Geokon machinists, in addition to handling the “front end” of the production cycle, also perform assembly duties for selected larger instruments such as multiple-point borehole extensometers. They also work closely with Engineering to optimize designs from a production perspective.
Dale enjoys the “relaxed working atmosphere” at Geokon. He and his wife, Maureen, have two grown sons. When not at Geokon, he enjoys camping, golfing, and hunting – depending on the season. Geokon is fortunate and pleased to have resourceful individuals like Dale on the team.
