Geotechnical Instrumentation For Field Measurements

Date: March 15-17, 2009 | Location: DoubleTree Hotel, Cocoa Beach, Florida, USA

This continuing education course will include presentations by users of instrumentation from USA, England, Canada, France and Switzerland. There will also be technical presentations and instrument displays by major manufacturers of geotechnical instrumentation from USA, Canada and England.

Emphasis will be given to obtaining high quality data to help answer specific geotechnical questions. There will be ample time for questions and discussion. Project types will include braced excavations, embankments on soft ground, embankment dams, tunnels and deep foundations.

Ideal course for:

• Engineers, geologists, or technicians who are involved with performance monitoring of geotechnical features during construction and operating phases
• Project managers and other decision-makers who are concerned with safety or performance of geotechnical construction and consequential behavior
