DFOS 3D can measure displacements in 3D space along its entire length, track curvature profiles, and calculate displacement profiles (in mm) perpendicular to the sensor axis. This feature distinguishes it from other, more typical axial strain sensing cables and sensors. It is designed to be directly embedded into the monitored structure or to be installed on the surface of existing structures.

It is available in various laboratory and field versions with different cross-sectional dimensions to meet the requirements of a specific project.

DFOS 3D is suitable for monitoring pipelines, landslide and mining areas, roads, bridges, embankments and other linear structures.
