GEOKON is offering two training courses to be held in September:

Piezometers, Strain Gauges & Extensometers 101

Date: Tuesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 4, 2024

Course Overview: Join us for a two-day crash course on Piezometers, Strain Gauges, and Extensometers. This is an introductory course geared towards new users. You will walk away from this course with an understanding of the different styles, applications, and installation methods for all three system types. This is an active training course with an emphasis on hands-on learning.

Pricing: $550. A 10% discount is provided when registering for both courses. An additional 5% per person discount is provided when registering more than one member of your organization for this course.

Inclinometer Immersion Course

Date: Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6, 2024

Course Overview: Join us for a two-day Inclinometer Immersion Course. This is an introductory course geared toward new users. You will walk away from this course with an understanding of our manual and in-place inclinometer systems. We will cover everything from basic components to data reduction. This is an active training course with an emphasis on hands-on learning.

Pricing: $500. A 10% discount is provided when registering for both courses. An additional 5% per person discount is provided when registering more than one member of your organization for this course.

Course Registration

General Information

Course Location: Both courses are available in-person only, and will be held at the GEOKON Visitor Center, 11 Mahan Street, Lebanon, NH 03766, USA. We are not offering a virtual or hybrid option at this time.

Class Size: Please note that class size will be limited to 10 people for each course. Registration will be confirmed individually, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transfer of Reservation: If you are unable to attend, your reservation may be transferred to someone else from within your organization. Written notice must be submitted to, and approved by, GEOKON before a reservation can be transferred. A Transfer of Reservation must be approved by GEOKON prior to the start of the instrumentation course.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee. Written notice of cancellation must be submitted to GEOKON to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the course starting date. In the unlikely event of a cancellation or rescheduling, on behalf of GEOKON, GEOKON will not be responsible for any damages resulting from the course cancellation or rescheduling. Participants will have the choice of being issued a full refund or credit may be applied toward the rescheduled course.
